The Betty Wright Aquatic Services program at Abilities United offers water-based rehabilitation and fitness opportunities for people of all abilities, ages and stages of life. Rooted in evidence-based health and wellness programming, the aquatics program is an important part to provide you with a continuum of services.
Aquatic Physical Therapy (right now we don’t have a therapist on staff to list this)
Our licensed physical therapist performs therapy treatments in water — which can be a soothing and effective way to evaluate and treat your musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, disorders or injuries, no matter what your age or abilities.
Aquatic Personal Training
Our American College of Sports Medicine® (ACSM) certified trainers provide individualized programs that can help you get fit, increase your wellness, prevent injuries, get relief from pain and improve your functional movement
Small Group Aquatic Fitness Classes
Experienced fitness instructors help you increase your range of motion, develop strength, and improve cardiovascular fitness, in order to improve your quality of life, function and well-being.
Designed for people with physical or developmental disabilities, the Adapted Aquatics program helps you meet your individual goals for movement and fitness.
Progressive and supportive year-round private swim lessons taught by skilled instructors at the legendary Betty Wright Swim School.
You will benefit from aquatic services provided in warm-water, wheelchair accessible pools throughout the Peninsula and South Bay.
