Frank Berry is a retired criminal law practitioner, having served as both a deputy prosecutor and a public defender in Santa Clara County. He also practiced entrepreneurial law in the 1980’s and participated in the launching of Borland International and E-Trade. Frank passed the CPA exam and practiced accountancy in the 1970’s. Frank has a child who is a participant at Abilities United and he has been involved in the Special Education and disability world for over twenty years. Frank is also the author of two novels and three short stories. One of the novels, Alone in the Fortress, is autobiographical and features some reflections as to what it is like to be the father of a child with a disability. He joined the Board in 2012.
