Community Connections Television Series
Conversations for Social Good
Launched in 2007, Community Connections is an award-winning television series presented by Abilities United and aired on MidPen Media Center public access television station twice a year. Each 30-minute program features guests from the community to discuss a variety of topics that help educate and build awareness for our Bay Area community members with developmental disabilities as we strive to create a world where people of all abilities are fully accepted, respected and included. These “Conversations for Social Good” are generously funded by the May and Stanley Smith Charitable Trust.
Notable guests include Autism Advocate and Author Dr. Temple Grandin, U.S. Representative Anna Eshoo, Palo Alto City Councilmember Greg Scharff, Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian and Motivation Speaker Nicole Adler.
