"If you want to be happy for an hour, take a nap.
If you want to be happy for a day, go fishing.
If you want to be happy for a month, go on a honeymoon.
If you want to be happy for a year, inherit a fortune.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime, help children with disabilities."

Each year more than 350 people give their time, talent, and energy in support of Abilities United services. Through this generous provision of personal resources, volunteers help to fulfill Abilities United's mission to champion people with developmental and physical disabilities. Previous experience working with the developmentally disabled population is always welcome but not necessary.
