- First Aid Basics $35/person
First aid training without CPR. Designed to teach: bleeding control and treatment of burns, fractures, seizures, shock, heat and cold emergencies, and poisoning. Requires full participation in classroom and skill sessions and successful performance in skill and knowledge evaluations.
- Standard First Aid Basics with CPR $45/person
This class meets many companies' OSHA requirements. This comprehensive course trains individuals to prevent, prepare for and respond to any type of emergency. Participants will learn and practice Adult CPR, choking rescue and the following first aid skills: bleeding control and treatment of burns, fractures, seizures, poisoning, and heat and cold-related emergencies.
- Standard First Aid with Adult, Infant and Child CPR $60/person
Instruction of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for Adults, Infants, and Children, as well as rescue breathing, choking rescue, and use of the EMS system. Participants will also learn bleeding control and treatment of burns, seizures, shock, and heat and cold-related emergencies.
- Adult CPR $35/person
Recommended for everyone! Participants will learn and practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, choking rescue, and use of the EMS system. Instruction is by instructor demonstration, video tape and manikin practice.
- Adult CPR with AED $40/person
You will learn the material from the Adult
cardiopulmonary resucitation (CPR) course as well as the basics ofAutomated External Defibrillation (AED), including rationale for early defibrillation, the role of CPR in cardiac arrest situations, general steps for safely using an AED, what defibrillation is and how it works. Includes hands-on practice using an AED training device.
- Infant and Child CPR $40/person
Recommended for parents and caregivers of infants and small children. Participants will learn and practice Infant and Child CPR, rescue breathing, choking rescue, and use of the EMS system. Note this does not meet the requirement for California Child Care
- Lifeguard Training $150/person
To teach lifeguard candidates the skills and
knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare candidates to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, and prevent
drownings and injuries.
- California Child Care Health &
California law (AB243) requires that at least one staff member at each child care center or family home day care have 15 hours of certified health and safety training. The American Red Cross program is recognized by the State as the standard for training.
Courses are taken as two separate classes as follow:
