In this 8-week series, professionals in Early Child Development will give you: 

  • Information on age-appropriate development and parenting
  • information Instruction on how to observe your child 
  • Expert advice to help address your parenting concerns 
  • Insight into how to develop your child’s strengths 

Chose from one of the following classes:

  • Mondays, 9:30 am – 11:45 am 
  • Mondays, 12:15 pm – 2:30 pm (Spanish-speaking) 
  • Tuesdays, 3 pm – 5:15 pm 
  • Wednesdays, 3 pm – 5:15 pm (Spanish-speaking)

Services

Early Intervention offers in-home and center-based education and therapy services for children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or are at risk of delay, and their families. Your child’s and family’s unique and changing needs are fully supported through our comprehensive developmental services. Our multi-disciplinary team of special educators and therapists provides structured developmental and educational opportunities in a blend of individual and small group activities. Our service stresses parental support and education through parent participation which helps you identify your child’s and family’s needs and provides resources and supports to manage those needs. Abilities United services are also available in Spanish or Hebrew.

Services available include:

• developmental groups
• home visits
• occupational therapy
• physical therapy
• speech therapy
• mental health services

Getting Started

The regional center will determine if your child is eligible for Early Intervention services. Eligibility for Early Intervention is based on 0-3 Federal Eligibility guidelines.

Once your child is determined to be eligible for services by the regional center you are referred to Early Intervention.
