Clients
After School Socialization is an after-school
recreation and community-integration program that provides developmentally
disabled children and young adults, age 5 to 22 years old, the opportunity
to socialize while learning the daily skills needed for future independent
community living. The program’s
focus is on socialization and peer interaction so participants can develop

Results
Your child will have the opportunity
to develop and maintain friendships outside their own family, interact
socially with others from all walks of life, and develop the skills needed
for healthy social experiences in the community. The ultimate goal is
for your child to transition into a recreation program within your own
neighborhood and participate in activities with non-disabled peers. Your
family will have extra hours and energy to devote to your other familial
and personal needs and full-time employment.
