"Abilities United gives hope to parents. It is a phenomenal program with

awesome therapists who have taught me how to work with Paul."

When we came to Abilities United, our 26-month-old son, Paul, couldn't say a word, not  even"Mama" or "Daddy." He was diagnosed with Autism but the  therapists at Abilities United identified his inability to speak as Sensory Integrative Dysfunction. They explained that Paul was overwhelmed with the need to stimulate his senses, so he wasn't able to focus his attention on speech.

After four months of intensive therapy, Paul is not the same child we brought to Abilities UnitedHe now speaks more than 100 words and interacts with everyone. When we started the program I just wanted a happy child. Now he has friends; he communicates and plays with other children. He's pleasant, affectionate, happy, and independent. We are so amazed; we have a boy now; an interactive young man. Just the other day I had the biggest thrill of  my life. Tears come to my eyes each time I recall Paul saying for the very first time "Mommy, I love you. Mommy, best in the whole wide world."
